DESCRIPTION
BUS/COMM 244, Seminar in Organizational Communication, is a graduate course offered jointly by the Department of Communication Studies and the College of Business at San José State U. The course is an elective for the Master of Art in Speech Communication and the Master of Business Administration.
This semester we will meet entirely online, using email, listserv, chat, WebCT mail, and discussion boards. BUS/COMM 244 focuses on current trends in theoretical and methodological approaches in the study of organizational communication, leadership, power, culture, and politics. We will give special attention to issues of globalizing associated with organizations and organizing.
